Our Commitment to Tackling Modern Slavery

Summary

The Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the “Act”) was introduced in an attempt to eradicate slavery, forced labour and human trafficking in the operations and supply chains of commercial organisations.

Bon-Accord Consultancy Services Limited (the “Company”) is committed to preventing and avoiding all forms of exploitation and corruption and describes here the steps taken to ensure these things never happen in relation to the conduct of our business.

Organisational Structure

The Company is a private limited company operating in the UK, Europe and beyond and has a relatively simple structure with no complex parent or subsidiaries.

Organisational Policies

The Company has established a number of policies governing its internal operation and how it engages staff, suppliers, third-parties and customers. These policies are reviewed on an annual basis.

Due Diligence Processes

In order to maintain our status as free of modern slavery we require all parties that we engage with to demonstrate their own anti-slavery statement or make one in writing where they are not obliged to by law.

Business Sectors

Our business predominantly operates in professional environments with highly qualified and experienced staff and resources that work in close proximity to the Company so the Company has limited exposure to situations vulnerable to slavery and human exploitation. Nevertheless, we rigorously ensure that our operations and supply chains are not at risk.

Staff Training

We regularly train our staff in the Act and their ongoing need for vigilance in existing and potential contracts.
